Is <pre> and <textarea> content kept?
Yes. Whitespace inside <pre>, <textarea>, <script> and <style> is preserved when minifying.
Does minifying change how the page looks?
It removes whitespace between tags, which normally doesn't change layout. Inline elements that rely on spaces between them can shift slightly, so check the result.
Is what I paste sent anywhere?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser and never sends what you type or paste to a server.
