Frequently asked questions
Part of a URL or whole URL?
Part of a URL also encodes characters like / ? & =, which is right for query values. Whole URL leaves those alone so the URL still works.
Why is + sometimes a space?
HTML forms encode spaces as +. Turn on the form data option when decoding those.
Is what I paste sent anywhere?
No. The tool runs entirely in your browser and never sends what you type or paste to a server.
Is it free?
Yes. It's free, with no sign-up and no limits.
